JC Constructors, Inc. is a heavy civil general contractor in the construction of water, wastewater, and in-river facilities in southern Idaho.

Constructing these facilities is technically complex, requiring a high degree of innovation combined with engineering principles and sound construction practices. These projects often require excavation and dewatering, structural concrete, mechanical piping and equipment, as well as structural and custom metal fabrications and industrial coatings. Project owners have appreciated the value that JCC brings through self-performance and greater control, while emphasizing teamwork.  JCC focuses on a positive work environment for employees, while maintaining strong relationships between the owner and engineer.  The company has received several recognition awards to date for its commitment to teamwork and innovation.

Jim Cox spent eighteen years working in the heavy municipal industry before starting JC Constructors in 1999.  JCC steadily grew to around fifty valued employees.  Their reputation as a solid, reliable heavy self-perform general contractor has steadily grown with significant repeat customers in various industries.  The cash-based company is based in Meridian, Idaho with ownership of a full fleet of equipment to support the crews.  Included are multiple cranes, excavators, dump trucks, loaders, dozers, transports and much more.  

JCC’s projects have ranged in location from central and western Idaho to Eastern Idaho and Wyoming and have ranged in value from $35,000 to $35,000,000 in bonded projects.  JC Constructors has an established surety line of credit with a reputable, national insurance carrier.  Due to successful completion of large complex jobs, JCC’s underwriter has agreed to support them on all bonded projects, large or small, that fit within the team’s vocation.  The Surety would welcome a conversation regarding JCC’s significant bond capacity.
